A British company and the only manufacturer of intraocular lenses in the UK
When Sir Harold Ridley designed the world’s first IOL in 1949, he chose Rayner to manufacture this ground-breaking invention.
Rayner has remained at the forefront of innovation for nearly 70 years, focused on providing you and your patients with the best IOLs -- always driven by science to improve patient outcomes and safety.
RayOne Capsular-Bag IOLs (Fully Preloaded)
A fully preloaded micro incision cataract surgery (MICS) injection system that works consistently without compromise.
RayOne is Rayner’s flagship solution – available in Aspheric, Spheric, Toric and Trifocal models. The Trifocal IOL has a new patented diffractive profile that has been designed in partnership with a leading European technology institute, resulting in the most advanced optic in Rayner’s history and possibly the most advanced in the industry.
Capsular-Bag IOLs (Manually Loaded)
Rayner offers a range of manually-loaded monofocal, toric and multifocal capsular-bag IOLs, including the FDA-approved C-flex aspheric lens.
Sulcoflex Supplementary IOLs (Manually Loaded)
Complementing our capsular-bag IOLs is our Sulcoflex range of pseudophakic supplementary lenses. Designed to be implanted in the ciliary sulcus, Sulcoflex IOLs offer a solution for correcting residual post-operative refractive errors -- or a reversible solution for the correction of pseudophakic presbyopia -- following the implantation of a conventional IOL in the capsular bag.
OVDs
Our Ophteis range offers a full spectrum of OVDs from dispersive to cohesive, enabling surgeons to select the OVD best suited to each specific cataract procedure. Ophteis FR Pro with sorbitol -- designed to deliver a new level of corneal endothelial protection from phaco induced trauma -- is the flagship product of Rayner’s ‘Ophteis’ OVD suite.
Pharmaceuticals
Rayner now offers a range of pharmaceutical and eye care products that manage the tear film and aid visual outcomes. Our product range treats the following indications:
- Dry eye
- Inflammation
- Allergy
- Corneal oedema
Rayner is the only manufacturer of IOLs in the UK, with its state of the art manufacturing plant and global headquarters on the south coast of England.
